**Juneteenth Celebration Agreement: Information, Rules, and Regulations**
By endorsing this document, the undersigned affirms that they have thoroughly reviewed, comprehended, and agree to adhere to all policies and information contained herein, including those pertaining to cancellations and refunds. Ambiguities in the information provided may lead to delays in notifications regarding space assignments or receipt verifications for committee members.
**Vendors, Services, and Performers:**
All vendors must register at the Blackstone Juneteenth Celebration Welcome area prior to setting up their booths. Each booth measures 10 feet by 10 feet. Vendors bear the responsibility of supplying their own tents, tables, chairs, and display equipment. Furthermore, vendors are required to establish their own cleaning stations in addition to those supplied by the Juneteenth Committee. It is imperative that vendors leave their designated area clean and free of debris upon conclusion of the event.
All participants must comply with the guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at all times. Solicitation outside designated booth areas, including the use of sound amplification devices, is strictly prohibited. All display items, products, and signage must remain within the confines of the assigned booth space and must not impede pedestrian traffic.
Booths must be set up by 9:30 AM and are expected to remain operational until at least 5:00 PM on the day of the event. Vehicles are prohibited from entering the exhibit area after 9:30 AM and prior to 4:30 PM. Breakdown of booths must be completed by 5:00 PM for vendors operating from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
**Important Notice:** All trailers, vehicles, and merchandise must be vacated from the designated area by the scheduled time. In the event that a vendor is unable to relocate their trailer, towing will be enforced by 10:30 PM. The Town of Blackstone Juneteenth Committee LLC, along with the Town of Blackstone, shall not assume responsibility for any damages incurred to unattended property.
Participants in the block party are required to complete their breakdown by 9:45 PM. Booths are expected to be staffed at all times, maintained in a clean manner, and all boxes and debris removed by the conclusion of the event. Please note that trash removal services will not be provided.
Vendors requiring electrical power must secure their extension cords from their booths to the relevant outlets. Food vendors are obligated to submit all completed Health Department forms, including necessary licenses, by May 31, 2026. Additionally, food vendors must remit the local meals tax to the Town of Blackstone by July 31, 2026.
The Town of Blackstone Juneteenth Committee LLC reserves the right to cancel, remove, or deny any vendor for violations of this agreement or for any actions perceived as a risk to the Committee, the Town, or the general public. No refunds shall be issued in the event of a breach of this agreement.
